The Phix Doctor Polyester Repair Resin Kit uses an ultra-fresh Silmar brand polyester resin. The polyester resin isn't compatible with styrofoam core boards unless resin isn't in contact with the foam, then it will work fine. Phix Doctor recommends to not allow the resin to be in contact with styrofoam (EPS) cores.
