The sport of SUP racing is young and most race events have two or more races. Only a handful of events on the west coast offer the chance to take the line with 100 or more SUP racers. Race The Lake Of The Sky looks like it will be added to the list this year. Here are a few of the reasons I think this race looks great…
Main Courses: The 5 mile race on Saturday has a cool course shape and all ability levels will be racing on the same course. The 14-mile race on Sunday is one of the few chances you have to race over 10 miles in a SUP flat-water race. Categories: All board classes and age divisions will be recognized in the races.
Organization: The website has all the information you need to attend this race well ahead of the race date.
